Guest CT Spotlight 2

Today the guest ct spotlight shines on the second talent guest ct for March. I would like to introduce you to Tracy. She was kind enough to tell you a little about herself.

1. Did you paper scrap first or go straight to digital? How long have you been scrapping?

I paper scrapped first...for 16 yrs. I've been digi-scrapping for 3 yrs.

2. What is your strongest scrapping skill on your layouts? Your weakest?

hhhmmm...strongest maybe clustering...weakest - I have a hard time putting a lot of pics on a layout and making it look good. I envy people who can get 4+pics on a LO!

3. What advice would you give someone just starting out digi-scrapping?

don't give up...once you get the hang of it, you'll be converted forever!

4. Describe how you scrap. What program do you use? Where do you start first? Do you always have something in mind when you start, or do you let your creativity guide you? How long does it take you to complete a layout?

I use PSE7. I usually start with a pic and then find a kit to go with it...then I just let my creativity take off :)

5. What is your perfect scrapping enviroment?

Quiet house, a 20 oz diet dr pepper, some great pics

6. What's your favorite thing to do BESIDES scrapping?

Reading, running

7. What is one thing you would love to do and haven't - just so you could scrap it?

Go to New York!

8. Is there anyone in the scrapping community who inspires you?

Nicole, Kat, Lori (SNP)

Guest CT Spotlight

Today the spotlight is shining on one of two talent ladies that I am proud to have guest cting for this month. I asked each of them to tell us all in digiland a little about themselves and to provide some of their work to show off here. First is Donna.

1. Did you paper scrap first or go straight to digital? How long have you been scrapping?

I started paper scrapping in 2003. I was introduced to Digital by a friend of mine in 2007. I was a little reluctant to try it but when I used the free verzion of Creative Memories Storybook Creator I wanted to learn more. I quickly converted over to the Digi side and I am so glad I did.

2. What is your strongest scrapping skill on your layouts? Your weakest?

I am not sure what my strongest skil is I am still learnign new things everyday. My weakest would be clustering and shadowing.

3. What advice would you give someone just starting out digi-scrapping?

JUST DO IT!!!!! There is no right or wrong as long as you like it then its good. Be active in a forum thats were you can learn the most!

4. Describe how you scrap. What program do you use? Storybook Creator3.0 & PSE9
Where do you start first?

I always start with the photos and build around them.
Do you always have something in mind when you start, or do you let your creativity guide you? I always fly by the seat of my pants....LOL
How long does it take you to complete a layout? From start to finish probably about 1 hour sometimes longer.

5. What is your perfect scrapping enviroment?

My dinning room table when no one is home I like the quiet to think.

6. What's your favorite thing to do BESIDES scrapping?

Take pictures. So I can scrap them.

7. What is one thing you would love to do and haven't - just so you could scrap it?

Drive across this beautiful coutry we live in and make many stops along the way.

8. Is there anyone in the scrapping community who inspires you?

I am inspired by all the talented ladies at Stuff to Scrap. Everytime I go into the gallery I am inspired!

9. If you could have Nicole create a kit just for you, what colors, theme, etc would it be and why?

I would love a fairy kit to scrap all those fantastic photos from Pixie Hollow. I am a Disney Freak!
